![]() After that you're free to make as many or as few of the projects as you want. The course starts by taking you through some basic shop layout decisions & helps you think about aspects of your shop you might not have considered. I, like you, am a newbie at "serious" woodworking having been a keen DIY'er for many years and I wanted to organise & improve my workspace. As far as I'm aware the course has always been a "pay once for life" product. I came to this course via Steve's You Tube channel where I was impressed with his easy going style and uncomplicated approach. I'm not sure what you mean by countdown timers. He cut the glass to size and sanded the edges to replace the shelf. He went into his shop and found a piece of broken glass from an old table or something. I can remember my grandpa had a glass shelf in a medicine cabinet break. Every item must be repaired to repurposed before even considering throwing away. I fear I may become like my grandparents that lived through the depression. I am looking at my scrap wood pile and trying to figure out some things I can make for gifts or crafts to sell like bird houses etc. My plans to increase my shop size, build new or buy a house with a nice shop in place have been crushed in the last couple of months. Just looking to do some skill building and organize the shop better. I am very much a novice woodworker still and this is pretty much my total focus (organization) and is right now. My question is has anyone tried this course and did they like it? ![]() ![]() He is opening up this course to all without deadlines or time windows. I am not really a big fan of people setting arbitrary deadlines with countdown timers demanding my money prior to losing out on an opportunity.
